Scripture cover

I finally broke out the sewing machine and this is what I made:

I even added matching ribbon bookmarks.

I saw a scripture cover similar to this for sell on another blog and decided to create my own pattern and make one for less. After much searching, I finally found an easy pattern for a fabric flower to embellish the cover. I LOVE the way this turned out. I had a hard time deciding on fabric, so I bought two different patterns/colors so I can have two. My next project is a cover for my mini-hymn book. After that it will be time to find a fabulous pattern for a church bag. LMK if anyone knows of a great bag pattern.
