Decorating the Tree

I always pass out the ornaments to try and keep order to things. Not that it really helps. They still end up fighting over who get to hang what ornament.
Each year the kids get a new ornament for the tree. The ornaments always has something to do with what happened that year or what their interests were.
Sadie wanted to take the ornaments off the tree and play with them. She really liked the puppy and Dora. Sadie and Alyssa got into a fight over Dora. Gary finally had to take Sadie out of the room because she was so mad about not being able to take them off. It is hard to be a one year old.

Christmas Tree

Saturday we purchased our Christmas tree. We always like to get it Thanksgiving weekend so we can enjoy the fresh pine smell as long as possible.

For the last several years we have purchased our tree from Aults Tree farm currently located in the Macey's parking lot in SF. They have the best trees for reasonable prices.

The boys always search for pine cones that have fallen off the trees. Every year they come home with tons. This year Alyssa joined the boys in the great pine cone hunt.

We love our tree!
