Picnic with Grandpa

The 4th of July was Sunday this year. Since we were in Utah all the celebrations took place on Saturday. So on the 4th we took Grandpa to the park next to his nursing home and had a picnic with the cousins.

We made the boys run in order to get more junk food. We figured they need to work off some of the sugar before they got more.

Independence Day 2010

We celebrated the 4th of July with Gary's brother and his family. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins.

Poppers.

Everyone loves poppers.
Sparklers with 8 kids all 10 and under...kinda scary.

They have a great view of the stadium of fire fireworks from their deck.

BYU day

We love BYU, the campus, the bookstore, the museums, and the Sky Room. We took an entire day just at BYU. Here are the pictures.

We danced in the "tunnel" at the MC.

Random pictures
These are pillars outside the Wilk that prevent cars from driving on the sidewalk. EVERY time we come here the kids sit on them and pretend to be statues. It's the funniest thing ever because they seriously think we can't find them because they are real statues.

We walked ALL over campus.

We had lunch at the Sky Room

Roswell, NM

Let our vacation begin! On our way to Utah we stopped and visited with some aliens.

We went to the UFO museum and were a bit disappointed. We had hoped for much more. It seemed their displays haven't been updated since the museum opened. It was still fun and interesting, just smaller than I expected.

It would have been nice to have gone without the kids so we could actually ready all the articles they had posted about the events.
The poster for the movie. After going to the museum I am jonesin' to see a documentary on Roswell and maybe even the Hollywood movie.
