Summer in review
We packed a lot into the first few weeks of summer.
We celebrated summer by: making magic paper, going to the library, eating out, movie nights, watching Pete's dragon while eating PB M&M's and popcorn. Gary was out of town the first week of summer vacation so we had a sleep over in mom's room. We did this years ago when Gary was traveling and the boys thought it was great, so we did it again. The kids just love sleeping in their sleeping bags in any room other than their own.
The only pictures we have are at from Taco Banana as Sadie refers to it.
The quality is poor because these were taken with my camera since Gary had our camera with him in Oregon.
Wow that was a lot to do during the first week of summer break.
We also made cupcake cones. A favorite childhood memory of mine. My mom used to make these for my birthday and bring them to my class when I was in elementary school.
We made rainbow pudding pops. The kids LOVED these.
Fun Friday Crafts:
Butterflies
We made marbled paper with shaving cream and food coloring.
To be continued...
