critters

These little critters are found all around our yard.
We have two that live under our deck. We haven't seen much of them since Jack accidentally got a hold of one's tail and tore it off. The hazards of getting caught by Jack.

At night we can see them crawling all over the bricks on the front of the house. We even get tiny baby ones that get in the house. So far we've found three. The tiny ones are no bigger round than a pencil and only about 3 inches long. They are really cute, but give me the creeps when I find them in my house. One of the baby geckos fried himself by crawling underneath one of the laptops for heat. Apparently they aren't very smart.

We also find frogs and squirrels running around the yard. The frogs come to life when we mow the lawn. I am sure we shall be accountable for many of their deaths.

This cute little guy likes to hang out in our bird feeder.
Let's just say Gary isn't too fond of him. We definately have more "wild" life here than in Utah.
