Gavan's Birthday

Gavan turned 9 this week. It is hard to believe I have a 9 year old. I can't possibly be old enough to have a child that old. After all I am only 30 right? :)

Gavan is really into football and his favorite team is the Colts. So for his birthday he got a Colts t-shirt and a new watch to match the team colors. He really wanted a Payton Manning jersey but at $60 I couldn't risk him not liking Payton next year and not wearing it. Gavan is getting to the age where his taste is more expensive.

Before we had cake Jack played Happy Birthday on the piano while we all sang. He was so excited to be able to play it for Gavan's birthday.

We always let the Birthday child choose where we have dinner on their birthday. Gavan chose KFC. The kid LOVES chicken of any kind. I have to say I was surprised he didn't choose Burger King.
