So while in the park the kids passed on some requirements to become Jr. Rangers. They had to go to a class and listen to a park ranger speak, cross words and word finds, coloring pages, answer questions about the park etc. They had a good time doing it.
Alyssa even got presented with a "sticker badge" for doing her color page of park animals.
It was pretty fun. They made a big announcement at one of the visitors stations and then presented the kids with their badges.
On our way out of the park we went to Old Faithful. Naturally it went of right as we were getting out of the car. So we walked around for the next 1-1/2 so we could see it up close.
We had breakfast at one of the shops. It was actually pretty good, egg biscuits and cinnamon rolls.

Not such a flattering picture of me but I'm ok with that.

Here we are waiting for old faithful to blow. Notice the scowl on Gavan's face. He really wanted to sit by his dad but Jack got there first. Our kids forget they have to "share the dad" as we call it at our house. Funny how we never have issues with"sharing the mom" Hmmmm. Mom just isn't as much fun at dad is.

Gavan, finally happy because he got to sit by dad!

The boys with Old Faithful going off in the background.

Finally, headed home! The kids were very excited to be able to watch dvd's again. They had been so cranky we told them no dvd's in the car until we left the park to go back to Utah. Gavan wore his headphones like this most of the time. Looks like mouth gear.

Alyssa takes a break from watching Dora to pose for the camera.

Sadie being silly too. It was hard to get a picture of Jack in the car from where I was sitting, but he was just as happy to be watching a dvd as the rest of the kids.
This last picture is just a cute random picture of Sadie. It was taken earlier in the week probably at Quake lake.
