Sadie's first hair cut

The girls both needed haircuts. Alyssa doesn't like it when her hairs get really long because it "itches" her neck, so she says. Sadie has never had a haircut so it was time to even her hair out.

I had thought about bangs for her for some time. I always thought she looked cute when she had little whispy grow outs that hung like bangs. Sadie kept telling me she wanted her hair cut like mommy's, but I knew I didn't want it that short or layered. So I went out on a limb and gave her bangs. Well, I was in shock after I got Sadie's bangs cut. They didn't look like I had imagined and the lady cut them a bit shorted than I wanted. I really regretted doing it. Sadie didn't like them either, she kept pushing them up or to the side. So, for the first few days after her haircut we pulled them back. It has now been a week and we've gotten used to them but we still plan on growing them out.

Doesn't she just look thrilled? She was actually looking forward the haircut for weeks but when it came down to it I guess she got a little scared. She asked me if it would hurt when she got it cut. :)
