Holloween treats

For Fun Friday this past week for dinner we made hot dog mummies, instead of pigs in a blanket. The kids thought it was great.

For the ward activity Gary got all Martha Stewart on me and made a spider web out of rice crispies. It turned out so good!

I am very impressed that Gary made the spider web. That was very creative and it looked great. Unfortunately I didn't get back in time to get any of it, but I am sure it was delicious and the hot dog mummies are really cute!

Well, I forgot to mention the idea and direction came from a cookbook, so we had help with the creative process.

It is so fun to surprise the kids with themed meals and treats! You'll have to let me know if you have any good ideas for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

We are having pumpkin Jell-0 on Halloween, the mummies are a cute idea if the picky kids at my house would eat them.
