Red Lodge, MT

One of our favorite places to go when visiting family in MT is Red Lodge. It is a little tourist town just outside of the beartooths.

Our favorite shops are the candy store, the toys store and the bakery. The bakery is my favorite they have the best sugar cookies I have EVER tastes! The kids favorite store was the candy store. You buy the candy by the pound and they have TONS of choices to choose from. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the kids getting their candy. We only let them get so many pieces and so every piece has to be thought about very carefully. :) Since we went in the off season this time the streets were nearly empty. It was nice to not have to fight the crowds of summer tourists.

What trip to Red Lodge would be complete without visiting the cousins, Aunt Shirely, Uncle Ted and Aunt Lisa. Jack really enjoyed playing with the big boy cousins, Wyatt and Quinton. Alyssa enjoyed bossing Wayne and Cyrus around. Sadie was such a champ, she was passed around and it didn't bother her at all. Alyssa would have screamed being passed around. It is nice that Sadie is so friendly. The true test will be Uncle CJ in July. If CJ doesn't scare her nothing will!
