I love April Fool's day! Today I played a few tricks on the boys. First in Gavan's school lunch I put a jar of baby food and a box of mac and cheese, of course I included real food too. Now, I imagine this wasn't too much of a surprise for Gavan b/c Gary and I randomly put things in Gavan's lunch to catch him off guard. I really think he believes his parents are clueless and forgetful. On random occasions he was put the remote, hair bow and flashlight I know there are other I just can't think of them off the top or my head. We do this to just get a reaction from him after school. :)
Tomorrow is Jack's Birthday so for his joke I make him a birthday card and glued it shut. He has been asking me for day to let him open a present or birthday card early, so I finally gave in.
For the past several years I have made April Fool's day dinners. This year we had homemade chicken nuggets (banana's with crushed graham crackers), homemade fries (bread sticks) with homemade ketchup (seedless strawberry jam), peas (toosties rolls-green) and last but not least mashed potatoes with gravy (ice cream and caramel topping).Looks pretty realistic in the picture huh?! The kids loved it. They all wanted more peas and mashed potatoes.

Very clever! That's great.
wow..and i thought i was industrious until i saw that. Neat, though!
That's way cute. I totally forgot about April fool's day until I went to the gym last night. The guys working there told me that the gym closed in a half hour and I looked so confused and told him that they normally close at midnight. I'm stupid. I can't wait till my kids are old enough to understand what April Fools day is. I will have to steal your ideas! :o)
That looks like fun!
