Easter Morning

This year we have 9 am church so the kids had to eat breakfast before they could open their Easter Baskets and then quickly get ready for church.

I don't have many pictures with the boys and their baskets because they opened them so quickly and then were off playing with their new Star Wars figures.

Alyssa really liked her Dora and Disney Princess books and socks. What little girl wouldn't. Gary told Alyssa it was ok to where her Dora socks with her Easter dress to church. He was wrong, it wasn't ok, so we had a sad little girl. Alyssa has made everyone read her new books to her over and over since she got them. Even the boys have had to take turns reading her new books.
Alyssa's favorite color is pink. She thinks if something is pink it is hers.


Jack loves to help Alyssa open things. So it looks like Jack is picking his nose in this picture but he isn't.

We told the kids the could have a couple pieces of candy before church. After Church I checked Alyssa's basket and this is what I found. She had eaten the ears off her bunnies. I thought it was pretty funny that none of her bunnies had ears. This reminded me of this funny cartoon I saw last year.

Sadie liked opening her basket. Instead of candy she got Gerber Graduate fruit snacks and puff.



Sadie got tired of the basket thing real quick. Still not sure what made her so sad.
Luckily she doesn't stay sad for long.
